1. How often do I need to have my wood burning fireplace cleaned?

 

If you use your fireplace frequently, you should have it cleaned after 1 cord of wood & inspected annually. 

 

2. How often do I need to have my gas fireplace cleaned?

 

Gas logs burn cleaner than wood burning fireplaces.  Annual inspections are recommended but cleaning annually in no necessary

 

3. Will you need to get inside my home?

 

Yes, the fireplace cleaning takes place on the inside and outside of the home. 

 

4. My fireplace smokes, what causes that? 

 

90% of homes have a smoking fireplace because the fireplace was built incorrectly.  Other reasons could be because the tap is impaired or the flue is

impaired. 

 

5. I have water leaking into my fireplace and I also have water stains on the ceiling and the wall around the fireplace.  Can

             your company fix my problem?

pans, dampers, seal flashing and crowns. 

 

6. I have birds in my chimney, what can I do? 

 

A cap should be installed on top of your chimney to keep out any animals or debris that could fall down inside.  If you already have a cap, you may

need the screening around it replaced or repaired.
